NM-Carbomer Aqua 10 is an anionic hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble,acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE) with unusually high aqueous thickening and stabilizing efficiency. This thickener is a liquid, cold-processable product that instantaneously thickens upon neutralization providing ease of handling and increased manufacturing efficiency.

It is offered at 30% solids and specifically imparts efficient thickening properties, to formulations containing anionic, nonionic, and zwitterionic surfactants. NM-Carbomer Aqua 10 works synergistically with electrolytes and is an easy-to-use, cold-processable liquid.

Formula Guidelines

The NM-Carbomer Aqua 10 is compatible with surfactants, solvents, oils and salts commonly found in cosmetic and toiletry products. These products undergo instantaneous thickening when neutralized with base.

NM-CarbomerAqua30 INCI Name: Acrylates Copolymer NM-Carbomer Aqua 30 is a lightly crosslinked alkali-swellable acrylic emulsion polymer. It is supplied as a 30% active polymer in water. NM-Carbomer Aqua 30 has long flow characteristics with relatively low viscosity. It is designed to suspend, stabilize, and thicken products containing surfactants and detergents. It is recommended for use in car wash applications, hard surface cleaners, and high surfactant gel applications.
