Chemical substances can be described by many different methods, such as molecular formula, structure diagram, system name, etc. CAS number is a universal chemical substance identification symbol. The database of Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) is maintained by the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS), a subsidiary organization of the American Chemical Society. It is the most authoritative collection of chemical information in the scientific literature from 1957 to the present. In today's trade informatization and globalization, CAS number plays an important role in the identification of chemical substances.
