NM-Carbomer 70 is a carbomer specifically designed for spray formulations. Owing to its unique chemical structure, it not only delivers the efficient thickening and suspending properties of traditional carbomers, but also offers self-wetting and electrolyte tolerance, it provides effective thickening across a broad pH range (4.0–12.0), And recommended to blend with a low dosage of hydrophobically modified thickener for high-salt, high ionic surfactant & high electrolyte systems.
In particular, NM-Carbomer 70 exhibits favorable reversible thixotropic and shear-thinning rheological behavior. At rest, it builds a three-dimensional network structure that prevents product layering and sedimentation, while under the shear of the pump head its viscosity drops rapidly, enabling fine, delicate atomization. After spraying out of the nozzle, the system viscosity recovers rapidly, reducing liquid sagging and optimizing film-forming performance on skin. Suitable for various facial and body spray applications.
